This was taken in Warrendale, PA, at the very beginning of 2007. We were having a very unwhite Christmas, and it was very nice outside. I just like the way the blue sky, green grass, white building, and the red of the other building all contrast each other and make a nice picture. Then, right in the center of the picture, you have the ever-watchful camera seeing all.

This nice, lonesome tree was sitting in the middle of the woods when me and my wife were at my grandmothers house in Pennsylvania, visiting for Christmas. I decided to take it. Too bad it wasn’t snowing, or this would have been an great picture. Either way, I still really like this!

We have this place by my house here in Florida called the Jetties. Basically it’s two long stretches of rocks pushing out into the ocean that boats can pass through to get inland more here on the island. When the tide comes in, the waves beat against the rocks, sometimes flying like fifteen feet in the air. I decided to try and get some shots of this, and this is what I came up with. Granted, it’s not fifteen feet in the air, but you still get the feeling of the water beating against the rocks from it!

Taken on February 22, 2007 at Venice Beach in Venice, Florida, this somewhat overexposed sunset image is one of my favorites. You can even see the seagull in the foreground, darkened by the bright sun behind it.

This nice sunset was taken on February 1st, 2007 at Venice Beach in Venice, FL. Though it’s not as overexposed as some of my better sunsets, I still like how it has a nice, soft, sunset feeling, along with the nice reflection of the sun in the waves.

This picture was taken on March 15th, 2007 on Casperson Beach in Venice, FL. My wife had her aunt, uncle, and cousin down for like a week visiting, and we all decided to go to the beach. They were all sunbathing; I’m not the type to really do so. So, I did what any bored person would do. I made a fence out of seashells and took this awesome picture!

This little beauty was taken at the Jetties in Venice, Florida. The waves were hitting pretty hard that day, but I managed to snap a few, really crisp pictures.

Here in Florida, the weather can get REALLY bad sometimes, but I’m adventurous. I decided to get in the car and drive a block to the jetti’s here and check out the scene. The water was almost totally NOT moving, and this picture was one of the few good ones that we got. It’s so hard to get a decent lightning strike picture, so I’m SO glad I did!
