This dead tree was seen on a nature hike me and my wife decided to take for our one-year anniversary. There were lots of beautiful things out, but I wanted to be different, so I snapped this picture. This was taken in Venice, FL.

Taken in December of 2006, the snowy winter hadnâ€™t quite come yet in the backwoods of Pennsylvania. Not one to skip over such an occasion, I picked up my trusty camera and decided to venture out into the woods of back country and see what I could get. Hope you enjoy it!
