This little beauty was taken at the Jetties in Venice, Florida. The waves were hitting pretty hard that day, but I managed to snap a few, really crisp pictures.

Here in Florida, the weather can get REALLY bad sometimes, but I’m adventurous. I decided to get in the car and drive a block to the jetti’s here and check out the scene. The water was almost totally NOT moving, and this picture was one of the few good ones that we got. It’s so hard to get a decent lightning strike picture, so I’m SO glad I did!

Taken March 20, 2007 at 7:40pm on Venice Beach, Venice, FL, this picture is definitely over exposed, but in a good way. I just love how the waves show the sunlight bouncing on them. I’m pretty sure this is everybody’s favorite picture here. :)
